Guys, why dont you contact ICAEW directly?
My understanding is that one dont necessarily get all 12 exemptions in ACA. You must do Advance Tax and Advance Audit to get that 12 exemption. But again I will just email them to confirm. Infact there are many other institutes with in UK who can answer your email more quickly. e.g. FTC, BPP etc...
Agian to be an ICAEW member you need experience and without membership you cant claim exemption in ICAP.
My suggestion to most of you is to go for ICAP, you will get better coaching for that in Pakistan and might be much easier to pass. I wont trust any institute who doesnt have any track record.
Other thing I will look at is Market demand. Do we really need an ACA to work in Pakistan. ACA train you to be expert in UK accountacy law and practice, which my understanding is you dont require in Pakistan.
Last advise, think many time before jumping in to these degrees & qualifications. More bodies you are memeber of, more complecated your professional life could be once you are on a senior position.
Just to clarify, I am in UK and an ACA, ACCA and MBA.
regards, A
