assalamualykum, peachtree basically is typical american application, based on their practices and so on..regarding payroll, it is coded for the taxes which exists in america, social security, medicare, state unemployment tax (sui) federal income tax, state income tax etc.. now if you want to use it regarding pakistan's tax structure or payroll structure you basically have to made some (juggar) with this application. there are two diff. modules for payroll,
1. use peachtree defined payroll
2. user defined
in user defined mode you have to make formulas if you want the calculation, i find these formulas way difficult to understand. this is why have found myself a solution, i calculate taxes or deductions or allowances manually and i put those when i am to charge a payslip through peachtree. it is quite useful in this way. anyways i will post a video tutorial which will help you understand how you should use the payroll... NOTE if you want to use by our ways..if it is whats built in (american state) than here i m uploading some material so you might read..every version of peachtree includes its user manual in it. you can find it in programm files > peachtree or sage > data or doc or support folder..every version got one .. anyways here i m uploading two books..jazakALLAH
