Dear members,

I have recently heard that the Actuarial Qualifications are considered as equivalent to PhDs in any Financial Discipline. However, I remember once Guybrush wrote that ACCA, CMA etc. (accountancy qualifications) are now considered as equivalent to Master level.

What are your views about the Actuarial Qualifications that whether are they equivalent to PhD level? DT <hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana, Tahoma, Arial" size=2 id=quote>

An Actuarial qualification is NOT an equivalent of PH.D,
Its a professional certification and shouldn't be confused
with Academics.

Actuary2B,
