Dear,
Irrespective of the responses provided with regard to your views by others, first priority should always be given to Allah rather than collateral priority, notwithstanding the possession of love and affections for others, Allah should never be given second priority.
We have apparently forgotten the actual purpose of life and have been involved in temptations of life and liable to drift away from the Islamic Path accordingly, since Allah has sent us as successors upon the sweetness and verdure of this life in order to see how we act toward it, and how we act is apparent.
Indeed, this is the most complicated question which the query should have avoided to ask to general public at a public forum. Since, Allah should not have been compared with parents or others regardless of whatever case. In reply of the question, most of us have claimed loving Allah more than everyone, however, this becomes apparent, to whom we love, when we look at society around us and we see that most of the worldly distractions, such as music, games, clubs, fashion etc. have almost influenced most of us.
We must love Allah more than everything, we will be given rest of our desires if considered to be beneficial in our favour by Allah.
I apologize for any inadvertence, if any one of you has been hurt.
Best Regards,
Faisal.
