well i am not from india but one thing that i know that india's accounting is much far better from our in pak cuz there are some writers of india <like Shukla jee> whoms books are also being study in pak and our teachers refer it also.

If Indian accounting is good, I guess it should have great prospects for CA qualified individuals... Whereas this contradicts to what an Indian friend told me... He said CAs in India get a starting salary of not more than Rs.15,000.

I wonder who's correct.

Well getting a salary of 30,000 to 100,000 and above is worth.But i was not comparing the salary but the Work And Knowledge.
