In case you realize that professional qualification alone won't give you much progression in career and you need to have a university degree as well (MBA/MSc etc.) then you can do so by obtaining BSc degree and then proceed to Masters program. If this agreement wasn't there one would not be able to do masters since a very few universities accept professional qualifications for entrance into Masters program.
In the same manner if you realize that you are not going to be an industry guy and want to move towards academia then you can do Masters and then PhD using this OBU degree.
