Assalmualaikum to all, dear frendz i have recently donr M com and now want to do ACCA. i will have exemption of first 5 papers, i wanna ask u that is ACCA has any worth in pakistan? can i get a better job after that? wether i will b able to do it cuz i came to know that it is difficult to do with job, as i also want to finance myself, moreover there r some of my frendz who r struk in the part 1 from 2 years, ther r making me hopeless. ACCA at the moment doesn't have a well-settled and predictable market in Pakistan... If you want to finance yourself, I would never recommend you to do CA... ACCA would be much better
CA would be very time consuming for you considering you've done your MCom... ACCA would be a better route assuming you get articles in a multinational such as PSO or Unilever, as they pay you relatively more than what firms pay to their trainees... However, even that is a very small amount...
But keep in mind, as of how things stand right now, don't expect to get a very good job after doing ACCA... You will need a three year work experience too...
But never be demotivated by things as such... If you think you are better than others, I'm sure you'll be able to find a nice job... More depends on your interpersonal skills, the way you present yourself, your personality.
