Lol... nice ones guys.
Its a marketing ploy and i must say one which was badly required. By presenting Mr. Aziz as PM, we're marketing Pakistan as a softer, more business-oriented nation to the donors and investors. Mush realises that Pakistan has to focus solely on its economy for atleast the next 10-15 years and for that we need an internationally respected finance guy at the helm of affairs. If we dont focus on our economy, we will be left in the last quarter of the list of 200 or so nations forever in the social and economic development scales.
Though what irks me in all this are the means through which these things are being done. I just hope and pray that these acts, like the referendum, making pact with corrupt politicains like shujaat, faisal saleh etc, and these bye-elections dont hurt the nation in the longer run, because such things can really screw up the democratic psyche of a nation. And no... i aint an ARD guy to be saying all this. Am a true Mush fan! <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
