Depends if this girl wants to pursue a career... moreover will her husband to be let her grow mentally.. furhter education or a job after she gets married... I think it s better to get married and then continue with whatever her plans are..all depends on understanding.. 5 years is a reasonable time to be engaged.. getting married is only logical.

by the way most girls in our country do pursue professional qualifications but then are too lazy to pursue a career once they are married..
