Avg joe.. i think we have u r views on the forum now and i do agree that a couple of posts later i undesrtand u r view point better. Just that you know, this is what poliyics is about,.. charisma, an issue closer to people's heart and the right timing... but then again that is the ingredients any leader or politician needs... I myself will be closely studying the doctor's tenure as a minister .... although I do not have high hopes for what he can do.... then again perhaps i may be wrong.. and i would like to be proved wrong....
You must agree that he has for the first time brought scholars from sunni and shia sects sitting close and at times agreeing to each other's point of view... that is a first and a positive thing. Plus this also shows that we do not have lot many differences on a lot of issues (shias and sunnis). Don't you think this is a bit of an achievement....?
Perhaps if similar shows and public gathering continue we will have some sort of civilised semblance in our much needed secretarian society.
