The education system in Pakistan is very well explained by other members, but I would like to add that it is not different from the education system prevailing in India in major.
Let me give you a brief overview
There are various education systems in Pakistan which mainly depends upon your pocket, but i ll mainly focus the Middle class Education system, as I belong from a middle class family.
First of all a Kid will pass through the stages of KG1 and KG2 etc. (2 years before going to Class 1.)
Up to class 8, the courses for all the students are same, after class 8 you have the option to choose Commerce, Science or Arts Education up to matric.
After matriculation you have to pass Intermediate, Bachelors, and Masters in your respective fields.
In Intermediate the Science Students may opt for Pre-medical to become doctors or Pre-engineering to become engineers.
In Pakistan Specialization starts from both Intermediate and Bachelors Levels.
Like you can do your B.E. Engineering after Intermediate (Pre-Eng.), or MBBS after Inter (Pre-Med.)
In Pakistan the Co-Education system is not so common as far as the colleges are concerned, but in Universities the girls and boys study together.
Now coming to the Film industry, the Bollywood is very famous in Pakistan bcaz the Bollywood Movies are the result of inspiration from Hollywood, and Lollywood Movies are prepared by sense of inspiration from Bollywood.
Due to above reason, the people who watch Hollywood movies dont like bollywood moviews,
and People liking bollywood movies consider lollywood movie crap.
Indian Movie's songs are very much popular in Pakistan.
You can guess the popularity of indian movies in pakistan that almost every Kid is aware of the Shahrukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Aishwariya etc.
