hi...actually the concept of MBA and business schools is totally different in Pakistan as compared abroad...MBA is the most respectful qualification abroad because the MBA candidate is selected on the basis of GMAT scores...this is only the first requirement...the second requirement is job experience...a 3-5 years job experience is normally required to get admission in a reputed Business School...then 2-3 essays written by the candidate is required...all the above mentioned things are followed by a series of interviews...
Now just try to find how many business schools in Pakistan are following the above criteria...only "LUMS"...and MBAs' of LUMS are fully employed...
So called business schools of PK are producing "sales persons" instead of MBAs'...
y CAs' are respected in Pakistan?...coz they have a 4 years experience(articles)...if this 4 years experience is removed from CA qualification, u ll find a CA in worst condition then MBA...
so we have to improve our standards...specially in respect of business education...
