How to dry the flowers, then it depends on what is the purpose of drying the flowers, If you just want to perserve the bouqet you have recived then simply let them dry but do keep them away from direct sunlight. simply bind the whole bouqet with a thread and hang it for drying, it will keep its shape even after drying.
and if you want to dry the flowers for card decoration then you can leave the rose buds or flowers in your books for few days... ( i do not know any better place(
nad as far as card making is concerned then i used to draw cute teddies, colour them, and paste tehm on ur cards. use glitter, ribbons.. just do a bit effort nad use ur fantasy i am sure your lady will like it no matter how UGLY the outcome of ur efforts is.. kidding
