hi,

i am an ACCA student (part i will be cleared by nov inshallah) from an A'levels background. Wasted a few years in CA but i am a good student (atleast i was before i joined CA).

My question is that as i already hold a b.com degree, should i go for MA (Eco) along with my ACCA studies. Would it be too taxing or is it possible. If anybody is following this way, plz share your experiences and others also, plz comment.

thnx

It is not difficult to do M.A Economics as pritvate student beside some professional qualification. But it will be better to do it in early stages of your ACCA. Because in senior stages it will not be possible for you to do M.A Eco. I did my M.A Eco when I was student of ICMA Foundation. M.A Eco requires hardly a study of 2 months to get good second division. Exams are ussually held in June and July. So keep it in mind. The examination form for MA are submitted in Feb of each yaer . Please note that I am talking about University of Punjab.

Arsenal,

Kuch bhi waste nahee hota bro. CA mein parha hoa ACCA mein kaam zaroooor aaya hoga. Rahi baat MA Eco ki to wo aap kabhi bhi kar sakte hein. It's easy if you are familiar with most of the economic theories. MA Previous from University of Karachi is much easier than MA Final. However, you only need to pass 4 subjects plus an exam on your essay writing skill in MA Final. Pubjab University ka awais ne bata dia aur KU ka meinne.
