Dear smtj,
if you decide to go for icaew aca then first do ACCA which minimumentry requirement is bachlor degree.
But if your want to save time and money then get 60% marks in your Fsc and start your CA from icap. If you are faithful with yourself and you are a hardworking studentthen you can complete your ACA from pakistan in Short time of 5 years.
And after that you have 3 or 3.5 yearsof accountancy experience and you can esily get your study visa of uk and you need only pass 4 papers of icaew and training which both require 2 years papers and training of icaew complete in two years.
And if you are following the Mr One Flower policy then i think you can facing lots of problems in doing icaew ACA.
secondly , doing acca you need to have these qualification
In order to study for the ACCA, you can either be a school leaver, university graduate, or a mature student holding any of the following
⢠At least two Aâ Level and three GCSE Passes (five separate subjects)
⢠BTEC National Award (Higher Nationals)
⢠M.Com (With Advance)
⢠MBA (With Advance)
⢠A University degree
⢠A recognized professional qualification
⢠Certified Accounting Technician (CAT)
And i am sure as you metion that you are Fsc student so you have none of these.
In ACCA there are total 16 two are optional 14 papers
Fundamental level
F1 Accountant in business AB
F2 Management accounting MA
F3 Financial accounting FA
Skills level
F4 Corporate and business law CL
F5 Performance management PM
F6 Taxation T
F7 Financial reporting FR
F8 Audit and assurance AA
F9 Financial management FM
Professional level
Core
P1 Professional accountant PA
P2 Corporate reporting CR
P3 Business analysis BA
Options
P4 Advanced financial management AFM

P6 Advanced taxation AT

Examination Rules
*Students may attempt a maximum of four papers in a six months period, including paper-based and computer-based exams.
*Students may vary the order they attempt exams within each module but they may not vary the order of the modules.
* Knowledge exams are of two-hours assessments which can be sat as a computer-based or paper-based exams.
* Skills and professionals exams are all three-hours paper-based exams.
* Students will gain a permanent pass in any paper where they achieve a Mark of 50% or more.
Exemptions
There are definitely exemptions for persons who have completed M.Com /MBA and CAT courses depending upon the nature of the subjects. Advice will be given on request. Students should, of course, apply for exemptions directly to the ACCA, but at the time of registration.

Mature student entry route
Age = 21 years
A-Level-Graduation
So if you done Four or two years bacholr then after wasting two years you need to waste more 2 years to only complete ACCA with out practice.

2 years bachlor+2years ACCA then doing ACA of icaew you need minimum 4 years=2+2+4 =>8 years
So please dont throw your self in time and money wasting activities just do Icap ACA in 5 yeasr and Do icaew ACA after completing ICAP ACA which require 7 years
Doing ACA from ICAP you got 3.5 years experience then you have best oppertunities to get job vacancies in best firms for ACA icaew training in pakistan and also in UK or in gulf region
because of your work experience with icap.

Na usnay ICAP say CA kiya hay Aur na ICAEW say aur in think kar bhi nahe sakta.
Just Meray aur app jay say student ko mis guide karta hai.
Do your fsc and join ICAP for ACA.
And if some body have ICAP ACA degree and after ICAP he got ACA of icaew tu phir usko CAT+ACCA+BACHLOR+MBA+AAT kisi degree ki zaroorat nahi
