Dear khizar
i dont think such discussion end out of boredom, we are not fighting here we are just sharing our knowledge, if u go through our earlier msgs i m sure u would find some reasonable comments from various people, i agree that some people often go OFF the track and thats the reason i took a slightly harsh route and later on apologised for causing any hard feelings.
i would appreciate if we can carry on this discussion in a positive way....for eg how WE (CA and ACCAs) can make a platform where we can raise our voices as ACCOUNTANTS not as a CA or ACCA.
for that i believe a voluntary organisation for accountants can play a big role whick serve accounting practice

ACCA itself should take interest to improve the worth of ACCAs, as fare as ACCAs and CAs are concerned, the professional jealousy is there, as i suppose there should be,
CAs in Pakistan are in dominant position so the question of joint voices does not arises,
There is platform of Accountants called SAFA, i dont know the position of ACCA in that Federation. But the one interesting thing i'd like to tell you that if a professional firm have Qualified ACCAs and that firm want to get listed on State Bank of Pakistan's Panel of Auditors, there is no place for ACCAs in the application form, and if u ask SBP that i want to mention that I have ACCAs, you will get the answer " It doesnt Count".
There may be some other examples like above,So do u expect that a CA will raise voice in above situation????????????? definately "NO",
thats why i said that ACCA itself should take steps to improve the value of ACCAs in Pakistan.
