<br />InshaAllah, you would pass Pakistani CA. Certainly, Pakistani CA or CMA are best option as far as cost is concerned. My best wishes are with you and all other aspiring students.
The selection of CA (ICAP) or CMA should not be done mainly for the reason of cost. As I have learnt through my experience that if you account for the amount of time involved their cost become closer to ACCA. The main reason for which CA is given preference over ACCA in Pakistani market is the worth a student is going to be accredited with after qualification. Simply speaking if you want to pursue your career in Pakistan ACCA is a mere waste of resources and time. On the other hand being a gateway for international accountancy qualifications it is very useful for students who intend to seek other international accountancy qualifications. An important clarification required here is that ACCA unlike CA and other accountancy qualification should not be considered as a full fledge qualification infact it is a gateway for other qualifications. However, as going for ICAEW after CA has also become an option, so I even for students planning their career abroad CA is becoming a better option.
Another factor which should be considered by students while opting CA is the time and effort required, and the uncertainty that inevitably surrounds the chances of qualification. For this point ACCA should be preferable as being comparatively much easier to qualify. It is therefore that I always suggest students who want to do CA is to come through ACCA route. In my view much lesser effort is required and even if one is unable to qualify CA he is at least an ACCA. Another suggestion for ACCA students is this, no doubt ACCA is good and very handy for other qualifications but it should not be taken as final destination in fact it will provide you with a firm ground in the form of knowledge and exemptions to enter other accountancy qualifications.
Agreed. But I didn't know all this when I started CA. My younger bro finished matriculation some time ago, I chose the same route for him as you are suggesting i-e CA via ACCA. And for all that uncertainty surrounding CA, our life is also uncertain, I'm not sure whether I will be able to press the "submit reply" button after writing this post or not!

Life is uncertain right. Does this mean we should exclude planning from our lives at all.
