I dont know the exact department that is offering BSc in Actuarial Sciences in KU... The duration is from 3-4 years, the normal bachelors course duration...
The admission requirements at the time being should be pretty average as they've just started it... So you want to know the Intermediate or A levels requirement?
In Pakistan, the future prospects of those who have done BSc in Actuarial Sciences from KU cannot be assessed... They've only started their first batch... They still have a long way to go before their worth can be appraised...
No exemptions are being offered for other bachelors or masters degree holders from Pakistan.

Sumaan,
I believe 'thecharteredaccountant' recently told us on the forum that the Karachi University, who supposed to launch its undergraduate Acturial Science programme from this/last year, has decided to set-aside the initiative, due to lack of interest and perhaps resources.
Could you please tell us the FACT?

They advertised admissions for BSc in Actuarial Sciences last year as the first batch... So I don't think that they would've done it before finalising the staff... However, according to some people who went there for info, their information department was so idiotic that they could only understand the word 'Actuary' and not comprehend what 'Actuarial' meant...
PAFKIET also started their Actuarial department last year, but no one was interested in joining it so they postponed it, or atleast that was what I heard...
The baseline - Pakistan is still not ready for such things as we don't have people qualified enough to teach it... Nor would anyone plan to build a separate college/uni just for this course.
