The Aim is to Tally the Balance Sheet Accurately.

The Goal is to get the Best Presented Accounts Award.

I tell you they are the unrealised revaluation reserve of husbands,,,, whereby husbands get revalued at the marriage date and the difference is taken to reserves with the hope that sometime this appreciation in family will realise,,,......

i think wives are our long term assets
coz these are future economic benefits.
when we acqiure them it is a heavy expenditure
then all expense incurr on them should be charged to repair and maintenance account
but a trip to hill station aften increase their performance so benchmark treatment is that this should be capitalized but allowed alternative is that you can debit it to p&l
