similiar is the case with bank.the main source of bank income is interest which is a big big sin and u as an employee of the bank help them to keep their business running.so u are also involved in haram thing.
Also there is general consensus among all the almas of pakistan that structure of all the banks in pakistan is based on haram money.
The reason why all the Almas around the world dont agree on single point regarding bank job is that the structure of the banks around the world is different.eg there are some banks in India in which all the earnings on ur deposits are halal.

Do u have any Quranic verse, authentic hadees, Qiyas of the companions of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) or even the Qiyas (Logical Reasoning based upon Quran or Hadees) of an eminent Islamic Scholar or even the Qiyas of any local ulama, on the basis of which u made the following statement?

Firstly, where does it say that earning money through smuggling is HARAM? Are u sure about that (coz I am not). Which Quranic verse, hadees, Qiyas etc refers to that? Secondly, where does any Quranic verse, hadees or Qiyas say that the salary of the poor people working under this guy is haram?
Although, I too think that such businesses are completely wrong morally. And I would do anything to get them stopped. But I wouldnt just brand the incomes of the poor people working in these busineses as HARAM (without any Islamic authenticity) just to STOP people from working in these busineses, so that these businesses get stopped.
Is this what the ulamas u refer to want? They want the businesses stopped, so they label the people working under them as earning HARAM income. But can they offer any concrete ISLAMIC PROOF to make a lame man beleive that this is INDeED HARAM ????
Do u think this is correct ? Just becoz, we want to see these businesses closed, doesnt mean we should MUTILIATE our religion & start brining things in it which SUIT US & our MOTIVES. Give a thought to this........what would be the difference between us & the christians. They too were given the bible, but they altered it to suit what they liked. Arent we doing the same? We are altering our religion to suit what we LIKE. Pretty soon, there wont be any distinction available as to what is INDEED Islam & what is just rubbish labelled as Islam.
This is why I emphasize on seeing an ISLAMIC proof, like a Quranic verse, hadees, Qiyas of the Suhaba etc before accepting anything as an Islamic LAW !! Wouldnt u like to see the constitution of Pakistan before accepting anything as a law? Just because a lawyer says something is against the law, doesnt mean that IT INDEED IS AGAINST THE LAW. The lawyer maybe wrong. You should ask the lawyer to show u the relevant citings, or the part of the constitution.
