Worth of joining accountancy firm?

I want to know that after doing ACCA,what is worth joining an accountancy & auditing firm or a company[?]. I mean in all regards I.e, future opportiunities,pay,respect,etc. plz kindly provide as much information as possible. I shall be very grateful to u all.
