Big4 ???

Hello everyone,
I am a student of ACCA (Fundamental Level) currently studying F2 & F3. I completed my B.com from University of the Punjab and now i am also working in a private college as an Accountant on Peachtree. I gained alot of experience here. I read many time about Big4 here on this forum. I didn't understand it what type of website is this and how can i take benefit from this website as an Accountant or as an ACCA student. Please anyone have enough knowledge about Big4 can explain it for me. Replies are highly appreciated.

I didn't find any speciall thing in Wikipedia article about the Big4 I only understand there is 4 big companies but what is the benefit of these companies to me and how can i be benefited from this site

As wikipedia states that <b>the Big4 firms have an oligopoly over the audit industry</b>... for prospective trainees, it effectively means that if they wish to have the best training and experience in audit and other accountancy services, then they should strive to get inducted into one of the Big 4 firms.

FOR A STUDENT TO GET A JOB FROM MULTINATIONAL COMPANY,WHEN U COMPLETE UR ARTICLESHIP FROM BIG4 U ARE EASILY PICKED BY MULTINATIONAL COMPANY LIKE SIEMENS,SHELL ETC.THAT IS WHY STUDENTS OF ACCA AND CA PREFFER BIG4. ONE ANOTHER THING ABOUT BIG4 THEY VE GOT BRANCH ALL OVER THE WORLD
