CA fast track----how do u people look at it??

Ya definitely I was not solely talking about professional papers, I used the word 'core'. And I have mentioned Financial Accounting of module C, Auditing & Cost Accounting of module D. I also mentioned the attempt from which the style got changed. On the basis of only BCBS paper you cant generalize statement!

Revenue! Should the ICAP exempt students freely? The purpose of exemption is to enlarge the entry route. The exemption fees or any other fee is still very nominal! And its quite rediculous by saying that ICAP wants large revenue. Is the Institute being run privately? Is the profit earned by Institue is being distributed among its members like any private institute? Then howcome their objective is to earn profits in this avenue? I think ICAP is an autonomous not for profit organization under CA Ordinance, 1961 and not under the Companies Ordinanc, 1984! The features stated by you leaves impression like ICAP is registered under the Companies Ordinance, 1984!

This is our habit to blame others also, we dont even try to mold ourselves. We know that our criticism doesnt make any sense but still we blame others rather than molding ourselves according to the standards.

I will just say that

"Don't try to change the direction of wind rather try to change the direction of your own sail"

You agreed that all the things I mentioned have been done to increase input but it seems output level would be remained controlled. I did not say that ICAPs sole objective is earning money, but all the things I mentioned in my last post (no comment on them by you) only intend to increase revenue.

Quite humorous whole of your post is and I don’t want to adopt the same tone. Those were just words and nothing in between the lines. Things like molding ourselves, ICAP is not registered under Companies Ordinance, 1984 what does you wanted to say. I think you are a professional so your approach should also be a bit like that. (I hope you don’t take things personal, just try to analyze things)

Sir, it is crystal clear that all the policies I mentioned are formed for the purpose of revenue generation only.

Paper’s standard I will discuss later, first need to clarify this.

I am not at all trying to disrepute ICAP, I belong to this institute I always have respect for it. Quite some polices have been formed for students benefit you failed to mention a single. ICAP is trying to make students training and for this purpose training regulations have been made in detail which are gonna be implemented soon.

ICAP’s fees are perhaps nominal (though increasing continuously more than inflation rate), but trainee registration fee as I already mentioned is too much i.e. Rs. 7,700.

What do you say about duration of training period (although has been reduced recently) and especially for students who join through graduation route, 5 MIGHTY YEARS. I wont find it just.

A graduate trainee is just getting Rs. 2,100 as stipend, Rs. 4,000 are the minimum wages as per latest budget.

Things are getting lengthy so I restrict my self.

Hope to hear some thing objective and logical from your side.

You better write a letter of your proposed strategies for ICAP, stating all the strategic changes thought by you, as the Council of ICAP lacks a professional and experienced person to formulate the strategies. It may work in some way. Critizing here on this forum is all useless.

yaar schueb i think u r ignorant of the basis of changes in ICAP's policies
yaar u have ur own opinion itz gud
itz just for informing u that we were told about a year ago that ICAP tends to increase itz members to about 10000 by 2016 , just owing to increasing demand in market..now u would say who told us ...MR Owais told us..he remains in touch with ICAP's council members..i think u aren't from karachi ..otherwise u would have known him
achaa..when we heard that we became very happy keh achaa hai ab to ICAP ziada bachon ko pas karay gaa , iCAP ka pass percentage increase ker jayay gaa and which would ultimately mean easy exams for us BUT itz drawback was compromise in quality...
theek hai..BUT then came ICAP's policies ,namely exemptions and then this fast track option etc and i was really impressed that how efficient people are sitting in ICAP...they decided not to compromise on quality but to increase the input and keeping the pass percentage app. constant..so more input & more output
thus sole purpose of all these policies is increase in ICAP's output..
other things are of minor importance with these
and as far as revenue matter is concerned ICAP doesn't charge a lot
it gives us a highly reputed degree for just app 20 to 30 thousand rupees , yaar IBA tak is say buhat ziada charge kartay hain ,MBBS from a govt college costs more than this ,my bro is doig MBBS i know how much it costs ..remember RAETS fees are not ICAP's revenue..its ur tuition fee...Achaa phir when we complete our CA whole of our CA cost is reimbursed in just 1 or 2 months salary..isn't this gr8
let me tell u about revenue of Society Of Acturies SOA , a non profit organization ,but it costs around RS 3 to 4 lakh if one passes in 1st attepmt which is extrememly rare..theek hai and itz last 2 exams cost about 1 lac each

Insaan rite, but how wud u see 700 students passin in module A and 40 odd in B, sir its obvious to trap students. As far as output is concerned neither me not any other student (i know) hav noted even a slightest of linenacy in icaps passin crieterian. i guess i m being realistic and in the lite of this aforesaid xample nobody will be convinced that icap is doin all this for what u said. xemptions all are available to module a subjects only, A 3 economics is shifted to module B leavin almost nothin in module A. papers like M. law, BCBS and others (not the bsic of this degree) are being used as weapons to fail students.

i never said that icap is a very costly institute, i have quite a sound idea bout others in the market, but u shud keep in mind that icap is not a tuition provider, this 20 or 30 thousand are to paid in the form of examination and registration fee.

now i wont tell who has told me, yet my opinion has been confirmed from some more realiable sources.

there r whole lot of icaps policies which can be pointed.

Pros and Cons r ofcourse there, and i have admitted there r much positive points which go in the favor of the institute
