My question is that,
1. I would like to find a job of auditor when I get to Winnipeg, do you know the circumstances of CA firms in Winnipeg or other similar cities in Canada? Because I do not think Winnipeg is a large city with lots of jobs. Do I have to get a CICA certificate? and How to get it if I were a CGA? Can I get some papers exempt?
2.I have an option, if I become ACCA member, I can access to ACA and become an ACA member within 2 years. Then I transfer to CICA without further tests. Do you think it is feasible? I have heard that becoming a CICA needs Canadian CPA firms admission and experience, which is not easy to get in Canada.
Please give me some advice in CICA certificate. I regard it as a good tool to get a good job. And I really would like to get some soft skills and become a helpful worker when I get Canada. What
should I prepare now?
Thank you for your time and I am looking forward to your reply.
Best regards,
Sunny

Dear
1. I don't know much about the job market in Winnipeg as I live in Ontario. You may join public accounting firm as CGA, however, if you need to get CA designation, generally following could be the requirements. Though following is the link of ICAO Ontario, but usually requirements remain similar. http//www.icao.on.ca/Admissions/CGAsCMAs/1010page1355.aspx
2. To get CICA reciprocity with ICAEW, one should be a member through final exams BEFORE immigrating to Canada. Please see details.

I hope it helps.
