Does any one knows that from where could i get the study material for CFA at relatively cheap price.And in Pakistan can we get tutions of CFA i came to know that CAPS is offering it.

Make an appointment to follow up with your advisor at a later date. That turns the advice into goals, and the follow through into a contract.

CAMS in Karachi has started a batch for CFA which a CFA qualified himself is teaching... There are no other proper tuition providers for CFA in Karachi... Don't know about other cities.

Thanks but the efforts are in vain. As if you are in Pakistan and want to Attempt CFA exams then you have to move to middle east as again in 2004 Pakistan has not been made an examination centre for CFA exams. The closest city is dubai. THATS THE PROBLEM WITH THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES.

I dont think all that was meant for me but I think I should have a say on this... Seeing that you're from India, you're trying to spark racism here... If I'm not mistaken there are more indians in Dubai than Pakistanis, and yet some lost person here is trying to indirectly point out lack of opportunities and facilities in Pakistan...

And if you can read english properly, see again with open eyes or ask someone else to do that for you if you're incapable, Karachi and Lahore are both LISTED IN THE EXAMINATION CENTRES for JUNE 2004 but not in DECEMBER 2004, because only LEVEL I examination centres have been finalised.

Chartered Financial Analyst

The CFA Program is postgraduate. The readings assigned in the study program and the questions on
the CFA examinations are geared for individuals who are prepared to deal with âmastersâ-level
coursework. Although many candidates enter the program with a business school education, others
may have a liberal arts background. No prerequisite courses of study are specified for entering the
CFA Program, but candidates should be aware that the assigned readings in many topic areas are
beyond a basic, introductory level.
The Level I Financial Statement Analysis material is directed at an intermediate/advanced level of
understanding. Before entering the CFA Program, candidates should be familiar with financial
accounting methods and financial statements. Candidates without a strong accounting background
or who need to refresh their accounting knowledge should review an intermediate financial

Sorry mate all I know about CFA is that there was a teacher CFA who himself was trying to pass a paper for three years, he gave up CFA but continued to teach CFA. <img src=icon_smile_clown.gif border=0 align=middle>
