By the way, Karachi kay Gov't colleges main parhai nahi hoti. You would have to take tuition. In my opinion, you would be much better off in your own area or in nearby city if good tutors are available there. You would be disappointed by the quality of lectures in gov't colleges (if teachers really come to class) in Karachi and be burning your precious money. Instead of spending money in Karachi on housing, living and others, you may spend that money on a good tutor in your area. BCom has become average degree in Pakistan these days and does not matter much from where you have got it. Save your money for something big after BCom.
However, for professional studies you may move to Karachi, if resources are not available in your nearby city. Same is the case for articleship etc.
