Dear Folks,

Hello. I'm new to this forum and generally newbie to Financial Accounting.

No matter how hard I try, I can't understand the difference between "Shareholder’s Equity" and "Total Liabilities and Shareholder’s Equity" in balance sheet.

I know that Shareholder’s Equity = Total Assets - Total Liabilities.

Then what is "Total Liabilities and Shareholder’s Equity"? Is it equal to Total Assets?

Thank you in advance for your help
