I was reading a reply on a topic from icmap student who asked for help in a subject. Someone replied "R ICMAP PAPERS REALLY HARD TO PASS I KNOW SEVERAL CMAs WHO KNOW NOTHING ABOUT IAS"
So What do u guys think "Should one get exemptions offered by different bodies or should not"
I know many of u will talk in favor of getting eemptions but think about the exemption policy of ICMAP they r giving exemptions to BBAs and MBAs yeah this is good news but we all know the education and passing system of our local universities, so almost every student ain't know nothing about the detail which professional job requires.
So what do u think should a BBA claim for exemptions or not???

Dear Ahmar, ur question basically is that should a BBA student claim exemptions or not from CMA.

This sounds like BBA student already has planned of CMA, the field which irrespective of the fact that is very competitive hasn’t got much from Pakistani economy as yet. I am not saying coz i am biased for CA but the fact is the fact. U no what, when we all are students prior to our training ship we see the accounting field from one perspective but during training see another life. 4 years of articles give u a lot, really u practice various important areas. To date around 4000 CA in numbers have been registered. Considering that 200 are not living and around 1000 area overseas, still CA's have made an unbeatable expertise and know-how. Coz just they have the public practice in their hand. So frankly speaking CMA's are not getting what they deserve. They study a lot too. And i don’t agree if someone says that they don’t know standards but the problem is that they don’t have the practical exposure of accounting, financial reporting, taxation and above all there own area of expertise management accounting.

So ACMA as such is a tough studies but as long as only CA’s have the public practice and top notch companies and industries in their hands. ACMA’s will definitely find a tough time.

As regard the concern of exemption, well initial stages exemptions don’t count much. If u are an ACMA in the end, no one bothers much of exemptions.
