FUTURE OF ACCA AS AUDITOR IN PAKISTAN

My name is KHAN,I am an acca affiliate, I want to ask u people that if acca has got auditor status in E.U y it cant get same here in pakistan. Icap has increased papers so it has to icrease number of papers after acca.Then y icaew passed people r still getting same exemptions from icap.

ICAP's policies are very rigid ..................... ACCA will not get audit practise license in pakistan because this is the only sector where ICAP can mantain it's monopoly

yar phir bhi kuch to change hona chayee. app apne bari mein kuch batayen. mein nee acca ke 14 papers pass kiyee hein. ab article karna hai,mushwara do.

i heard that acca will get liscence to audit in pakistan from june 2007 is that right.

I have already posted this topic in Audit section to get the views whether ACCA should be allowed to engage in public practice. Please check it and let me have your views so that we can raise the issue at appropriate levels.

ACCA can't get Audit practise lisence in pakistan as i mentioned earlier that audit is only profession where ICAP can restable it's market.........now can you "khani" please tell me that what is the worth of only audit practise license with you............don't you think we ACCA students studied much in depth like Financiial reporting, financial management, treasury management, business analysis, information management..........what else you want to be....make your future in investment sector , like industries, banks others ........don't bother about audit license and if you are that much intrested in audit then simply go and waste your 1 year in module E and F..........but my openion is that you should go for CIMA,CMA or CFA......don't bother about CA.....why you want to make duplication of efforts in CA i think yo studied SFM(3.7) now please go and see CA's F18 Management Accounting......you will ultimatly say that that's what i studied in 1.2 and 2.4......................dear brother don't waste your time in CA.............do you know that lot of fools start doing ACCA just route to CA or other Qualification...irrespective of the fact that ACCA has it's own prestegious value all over the world..
