No mutti ICAP does'nt allow everyone to register for his audit firm, there are certain conditions on which one can open his private audit firm under section 205 of the companies ordinance 1984.
It is better for you to contact ICAP directly or SECP.
There may come a question, "how some engineer may open an audit firm" or "how some lawyer may open a private ENT clinic".
ICAP is considering allowing non CA partners in the firms although it has not so far been approved. However, this will not result in opening firms without CA partners, even if it is approved.
Is there any possibility if few persons form a partnership, being ONE of them a chartered accountant, and the firm apply for the audit license from ICAP?
Please advise if there is any provision for the above arrangements?
