ICAP discriminating against ACCA

Every one has the right to hold is view,

KamranACA is requested to give a solution in this situation and he says that one has to face the results of one's decisions.

It means he has no solution for the thousands pakistani students doing ACCA and ultimately wanting to do CA from ICAP.

ACCA tuition providers who have earned a lot money from putting Pakistani students to ACCA/CAT knowingly what will be their demand in Pakistani Job Market after qualifying ACCA, | demand from them to come forward and get maximum exemptions from ICAP for these kids from whom they have built empires.

ICAP has no sympathy for these pakistani students.

Even a fellow A.O has mentioned that Now ICAP students are happy that ICAP has reduced the exemptions for ACCA students,I think he should feel sympathy for them .

Mr KamaranACA has nothing helpful for these ACCA students,
ACCA will not go out of pakistani market,
What will happen after this reduction in exemptions?


ACCA qualified Pakistani students will go out of Pakistan to dubai(MIDDLE EAST) or UK
and will Insha Allah earn a lot of foreign reserves for Pakistan and also for their families.

ACA from ICAEW will be here in Pakistan and ICAP will keep on its monopoly,

I ask this question from A.O that how ICAP will keep out ICAEW from Pakistan
and soon ACA will come in ACCA's place and you will only get what you have in your fate,as a muslim it is my EMAAN.

The alleged issue of providing some easy-way to a few people to qualify CA has already been debated and it has since ages been found devoid of any logical proposition. The thing that is said is BY NO MEANS POSSIBLE; I am somehow an insider and I deadly believe in it based upon real life exposure. Most of the people who are alleged are not even working in Pakistan. They were ACCAs and are still using their ACCA designation for career building. Further, an allegation means nothing; you know, it could be put on anyone. I believe if this is the basis of your point raising then you need no clarification. Just find the facts on ground about the people who are alleged. Last; I have no personal connectivity with anyone of them. Just to place on record. So if there is something productive and logical, do discuss with me. Otherwise you have taken a right decision regardless of its basis.

I have "from centuries" been telling students that if they would join ACCA, they will find this situation. I think this was the first help/assistance from me to new comers. Check my oldest posts even. Now, I have a solution for you all which I feel you could not pick from my above posts. Either accept the results which I believe would never be too bad in perpetuity. One day you will be rewarded if you work hard and prove yourself. This is second sort of help.

Secondly, do CA from ICAP or any other renowned body ignoring the heart breaking facts about how much exemptions have been reduced. At least there are some exemptions. Utilize them. This suggestion is third sort of help.

What practically can I do is; to accomodate ACCAs for work as much I can do in a graceful and logical ratio against CA trainees so that balance does not get distorted. This is what I am doing from last 5-7 years. For me there had never been any discrimination while inducting trainees PROVIDED that some place is vacant for ACCA trainees. Fourth type of assistance.

So every one has a limit on his capacity and I believe am doing the things without any prejudice while I am sitting on other side of the table. Neither can I change the fates, nor the past decisions of fellows like you, nor can I guarantee anyone a pre-determined future in his career. Survival is for fittest always; and fittest has to be defined as per prevalant circumstances.

I agree to some extent with the conclusion that somewhere illetrates are in command in Pakistan; specially in political perspective. But this is not true every where specially when we see the professional and disciplined organizations in private sector. You can find quacks playing with the lives of people somewhere but at leading hospitals you cannot find a quack at all. There can be quoted many other examples.

Rarely we can see instances where people can be extremely intelligent and capable without having acedamic certifications/designations OR at least without having some "specific" qualification. This is not out of the world if we look at all the bigger names in the history. We can find out extremely renowned people having no certifications at all. So, every example is not meant for the conclusion drawn in the above post.

I have seen some B.Comms. leading the institutions, and without any hesitation I accept such some people do have the ability to do so and are far more level headed than many others who carry different well known designations with their names. So, there is something which we call God-gifted, and when God gifts someone with ability, he leads as per destiny, and all grapes for such a person are naturally sweetend.

atleast potential ACCA student(one who is nt yet regstered as a ACCA student ) should be given time to think 100 times b4 to go for ACCA in pak atleast,,,, but waaat abt those who are on the verge to complete their ACCA qulification ,,, atleast ICAP should give room to those,, the same policy should be implemented after 1 year or so ,,,, kyun k ACCA k 8 papers 1 saal main nikal sakte hen ,,,

Be united and get something for you
You have done nothing wrong except that you are from middle class of Pakistan and not that rich that you can afford ICAEW,CICA etc.

ICAP will listen your voice.

YOU have to get a minimum time of two years but you will have to promise that after that time no one will go to ACCA or any other foreign institue.

If some one comes afterword with foreign CA degree,he should be thrown away from Pakistan.

ICAP is a national institute and it should not discriminate against any class of Pakistani nation.

Kamran Bhai I'm really amazed to see that you are still stuck in this ACCA vs ICAP stuff. I remember I was in my initial papers of CAT when I used to reply your posts upon this topic. Alhumdolilah at this stage where im doing my MSc finance and Risk Managemnt i'm glad for my decision of ACCA. Dear readers, i'd kindly request you not to follow a single opinion.
Trust in yourself and do what your heart says. And this is what I did. Here in London or world wide.. OUT OF PAKISTAN you won't feel the difference of ACA OR ACCA. I personally know my friend who was ACA(ICAP) with 10years of Fergusons experience but had to do ACCA to get job here in UK.
Well it of no use discussing such things again and again.. I'd just like to say , please do not undervalue anything that gives you knowledge. Very good luck with this discussion. and Very very good luck for WEDNESDAY ) DO PRAY FOR PAKISYAN'S VICTORY.

Well Mansoor I only popped in when I read comments from my very respected brother Kamran. Mashallah I'm proud of him. He has very vast knowledge. I just remembered those days when I used to reply Kamran bhai and then gave a piece of advise not to get confused in ACCA V CA. But besides this, the topic is why there has been so much of discrimination of ACCAs by ICAP, so people are discussing the resons with supporting facts to conclude that both are at their high level of standards in their respective areas. I'm sorry if my post lead you think it is CA V ACCA discussion.

well ur post didnt give me any such impression i made mistake by pointing u,,,, but i was suggesting students generally not to confuse the poster cuz we all are here to share our knowlegde and experience regarding a particular topic and not to blab out, wat is running and racing in our mind ,,,, u r rite ,kamran Aca is also the intangible asset of ths forum ,,, but wen i start to read the topic slowly and gradually i felt my self to be deviating frm the topic ,,,, God knws wat the hell did go .....
