Dear maani
i m not a deobundi or barelwi either or atleast doesnt call myself. as far as i know Pracs also calls himself JUST A MUSLIM and doesn't belong to either of the maslaks.
as pracs mentioned it is much better to read the CORRECT books before we pass on any comments here. i dont believe in grave worshiping either so there is no dispute between the three of us but i m sure there are plenty of members who do believe in such practices and i tell u they have some solid(as per them) reasons to believe.
i m open to any discussion on this forum, provided it is not personal to anyone. i dont see any point discussing it with u as i find myself in the same place as u are.
please allow me to start a relevant non-personal discussion. during my 4 weeks stay in pakistan i saw a person called Dr. Zakir Naik on "Q-TV". i got impressed by the person's knowledge and memory and the best thing i found was he doesnot preach any specific FIRQA/MASLAK instead he tries to prove his points with Quran and sometimes with Sahi Hadith. Apart from extreme self-projection (which is justifiable) I see him as one of the big scholars of Indo-Pak in recent times.
WOULD APPRCIATE YOUR COMMENTS?
kind regards
