Hi everybody

An average person walking the streets of northern england doesnt have any idea about the lack of our econmomic or financial independence and over-reliance on World Bank and IMF. But he hates us for what he sees of us over in his country, ie. first by entering britain illegaly, unemployed, uneducated, good for nothing young boys of Pakistani origin doing nothing except creating law and order situations (rioting at times), encroaching upon their land, taking up their jobs, in general, becoming the new underbelly of british society. Nobody likes this type of ruffian attitude.

Interesting to note that the indians also used to be metted out similar behaviour from the locals around 15 years back, but since then that behavior has gradually turned positive. The reason is not just media projection, which i believe has a substantial impact, but mainly the reason lies in the way that most indians have got educateed, excelled in their respected fields and integrated themselves in the british society in a unique manner, that is, keeping their own culture alongwith adopting the local british customs. This is something which should be be studied very closely by our social scientists.

Nowadays we are the favorite whipping boys of the brits alongwith some other african nations just because of the way we have presented ourselves to them.

Hi all,
i agree with you guybrush, and i would like to say further that charity begins at home,
we can observe during our daily lives that we feel proud of violating the laws, we show that we are very busy personels, e.g. at the traffic signal, when the signal turns green and u just dont move ur car for exactly 5 seconds, then u can hear the different sounds of horns, everyone shows that he is in a great hurry, but after crossing signal he meets some of his friends, he can stand with him for more than an hour or two, (but he cant wait for 5 seconds on the traffic signal),
Why do we do that? when there is no sargeant on the signal then we dont care of the signals, do we?
so first of all we should correct ourselves bcaz we are pakistanis, when we go abroad, we are the representative of our whole nation, whatever we do overthere, that creates good or bad impression of our whole nation.

pervaiz, make me the finance minister, and I promise, the goras are gonna have to hear much worse then u say, you will censor it <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
and guybrush has lots of substance when he says that. its basically a tarnished, chewed up and spat out kind of an image that we carry to the outsiders. I believe, the remedy to this is to be proud of your identity, and achieve brilliant (and legal) things, to show others what they actually should associate with our identity and not merely an ugly outlaw.
and smraza u r right there too, I've often tossed empty chips bags out of the car and yelled 'Paki power' - (I dont do it anymore, not even a bubble gum's wrapper) and we lack patience too.
however blowing horns at the stationary car ahead , on a green signal, that's his right (however to forego this right would be a noble thing) so we should try to be noble too.
Ya ALLAH hum per khair ferma or raham ker - amin.

Agreed with Paki,
but i would like to add one more thing, as we are all muslims but the fault is that we are just ORAL muslims, not the PRACTICAL muslims, we claim for being muslims but we dont act on any rule of Islam, Islam in our eyes is just to keep the women in parda, we donot think more than that, i m not just talking about the Paki Muslims, but the muslims of the whole world, thats why the Muslims of whole world are slaves of Goras,
but unfortunately we possess two degrees One =Muslims Second=Pakitanis,
so the only way to rebuild our respect is to keep ourselves on Islam,
(Not in that way like Our Mulllaaasss do)

I don't know why Theone (author of paki is offensive) is silent, might be he don't have more words against Paki or he is waiting for another
DAWN's report to write some word on PAKI.[
