Currently I am studying in United Kingdom and I have done AAT (Association of Accounting Technician) and now I am in Part 2 of ACCA. I am planning to come back Pakistan after completion of my ACCA course. My friend from Rawalpindi studying in ACCA as well in Islamabad told me that after completion of ACCA you can get MBA degree as well.
Now I have changed my mind and after completion of ACCA Part 2 I would do âSearch and Analysis projectâ to get the Bsc (hon) degree form Oxford Brooks University. And then I want to do ACCA part 3 from Pakistan and in this way I can get MBA qualification as well (if my friend is right about ACCA and MBA), which mean two extra qualification in same time.
Some of my friend advice me to stay in UK until completion of my ACCA course because they consider UK qualified got bright future in Pakistan, but I am not agree with them and I say that if I want to work in Pakistan then I should complete my ACCA course from Pakistan.
Could you please Advice me regarding my above planning and about MBA
i gonna wait for replies from Smraza, Guybrush, Paki, Geo, Sumaaan, Asif and TheOne (if he is still on forum.

I came to London a couple of weeks earlier... I'm studying for ACCA, and I'm taking up four examinations...
What I've decided is that after my classes end here, I'll go back to Karachi and give my exams from there... The reason being the lack of time here for studies... There are a number of things we students have to look after in London which we cared less about back home...
From what I've examined, it takes almost double the time to do ACCA/ICAEW from UK than we can do from Pakistan... Coz back home we have flexible routines...
This is the way my career is poised as of now... I may come back to London for ICAEW later if I choose to do it and get consent from my parents... But I think its better than I complete ACCA as soon as possible so I'll go back to Karachi inshallah as soon as my classes end and appear for examinations from there.
Hence, my advice is, if you don't have time constraints, stay in UK and complete ACCA from here... But if you want to do it fast and quick, you should complete it from Pakistan.
