please suggest books for PPT

My cousin is going to prepare hisself for PPT paper in June Or September,please suggest books for it,specially for English (Words with same meanings) and Maths. I dont have a good idea about this PPT Test.

For English my opinion is (CA Functional English PBP Study Text).
and for maths he should only know basics of maths like pairing, matrix and equations. JAZAKALLAH.
