AoA,

As we know that the GAAP are going to be replaced with IFRS in both US and Japan within a couple of years. What affect this would bring to the profession of chartered accountants and what opportunities are likely to be created within the world's two biggest economies? Do you think that it will further enhance the prospects for CA's of Pakistan. Please share your thoughts!

Thank you

Salamz,

Answer is still awaited! I would be obliged if any senior and knowledeable memberlike Kamran ACA, Pracs or any other such person could let me know about this. I wanted to know that what difference it will make for Pakistani CAs once IFRS are fully implemented in US, Japan and other GAAP based developed countries.

Thanks!
