Reduction in Training Period
As the amendment in bye-law 99(1) has been approved by the Government and has already been sent for gazette notification,ICAP has decided that the students whose probation period starts on or after 01 May, 2005 will be eligible to be registered as trainee students for a training period as mentioned below
CA Intermediate - 3.5 Years (having passed Modules A to D)
Graduates - 4 Years (with 4 years degree programme)
However, study leaves and examination eligibility period as per the existing rules will remain unaffected.
