WHT statement

Can any one please tell me what is the new requirement of filling withholding statement. Because as per my knowledge in previous tax year we have to file monthly tax deduction return.
But now i came to know that we can file withholding statement quarterly and annually. Please also let me know that what are the fbr requirement for complete procedure of WHT statement.
i.e. 1st step is tax deduction.
2nd we have to file wht statement.
is any thing else we have to do.

As per Section 165 of Income Tax Orinance 2001
11[(2) Every prescribed person collecting tax under Division II of this Part
or Chapter XII or deducting tax under Division III of this Part or Chapter XII shall
furnish statements under sub-section (1) as per the following schedule,
namely—
(a) in respect of the September quarter, on or before the 20th day of October;
(b) in respect of the December quarter, on or before the 20th day of January;
(c) in respect of the March quarter, on or before the 20th day of April; and
(d) in respect of the June quarter, on or before the 20th day of July.]

It would be better k abi ap monthly return hi file kro bcoz abi tk quarterly return ka form nai aya, jb ajay to u can merge it on quarterly basis.
