Sales Tax - Difference b/w Input and Output Tax

Please guide me about monthly filing of sales tax return, and also what is difference between input tax and output tax.

Jab ap koi item purchase karty han or us par sales tax dayty han to usy input tax kaha jata hay,

Or jab ap koi item sale karty han or us par sales tax laity hayn to usy output tax kaha jata hay,

Output tax may say Input tax less kar k sales tax liability nikali jati hay.

Par yad rakhny wali bat ye hay k input tax sirf output tax ka 90% less ho sakta hay.

Remember that last date of e filing of sales tax return is 18 th of the following month mean june ki activity ka return july 18 tak bhar saktay hain but if ur output is gretaer than input u pay sales tax to govt and last date of payment is 15th og following month
