Hi. I'm new in the profession of accounts & finance. I want to know the sequence of steps which are taken from the moment goods are shipped till the realization of funds in bank account from the customer. When bill discounting is involved. At each step, what documents we need. What documents does a bank require for discounting a bill. At what markup, the bank charges and how the rates are negotiated. I need a detailed answer - wondering if anybody could help this new kid on the block. Be blessed!
