india was always a big economy, especially under muslim rulers!! so it had a lot to offer to mongols. and security wise khwarzimian empire was no match to that of altamash and later balban. i had read somewhere balban had established many strong forts on the borders. his technique was to weaken the adversaries as much as possible before they reach the mainland.

1) The Kashmir included all the part of Azad Kashmir, Narthren Areas, Jammu, LAddakh and Kashmir should be a independent state

2) If i have a chance to resolve it i will give freedom to all Kashmiries to make their independent country

Not commenting on the Kashmir option as yet, but I'd like to clear the fact that Northern Areas (Including Chitral, Gilgat & Skardu (Baltistan) and Laddakh) have never been part of Kashmir as such. These were all independant states who paid taxes and retainers to the British and to the Dogras. The moment the Dogra Mahraja went against his words and signed the assession treaty with Nehru (Post Jinnah's death), states of Chitral and Baltistan announced their assession to Pakistan (despite the fact that they had no legal rights under the partition plan of 1947)and lead their private armies along with the local populace and the Tribal pathans to liberate Muslim lands from India,. The ordinary Kasmiri people (excluding a few exceptions) did not participate in this struggle, especially from the 'VALLEY', many in those times considered this to be an invasion from the Tribals/Pathans and seemed fit not to side with them if not against them.

These people are not Kashmiri ethnically, nor is their language. Nor do the people in this area 'wish to be part of an Independant Kashmir'

If and When we talk about Independant Kashmir, this would mean 'Azad Kashmir' and the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Let there be no doubt about it.

BAsically Whole KASHMIR comprises of

1) Occupied JAmmau & Kashmir (Velley, JAmmu etc)(Occupied by India)
2) Azad Jammu & KAshmir
3) Northren Areas (Faderally administrated)
4) Ladakh,
5) Baltistan, Kohistan Chitral et
6) SOme part occupied by CHINA

SO PLEASE DONT SAY AGAIN THIS AND FISRT STUDY OF THE HISTORY

Gilgit-Baltistan or the Northern Areas is the northernmost region of Pakistan, with a population of approximately 1.1 million. The entire area including Gilgit and Baltistan was known as the Gilgit Agency till October, 1947. This is a strategically very important region of the world, which is sandwiched between the high peaks of Hindukush and Karakorum on the north and those of western Himalaya on the south. It borders to the north with Afghanistan and China, to the south with India and Azad Kashmir and to the west with North-West Frontier, Pakistan.

Unlike the area that Pakistan calls "Azad Kashmir," the Northern Areas are incorporated into Pakistan. A small part of Northern Areas was ceded to China by Pakistan in 1963 with the proviso that the settlement was subject to the final solution of the Kashmir dispute. India does not recognize the Northern Areas as belonging to Pakistan and calls the region encompassing Azad Kashmir and the Northern Areas "Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK)"

The region was under local rulers for many centuries. The rulers of Hunza were called Mirs, and those of Gilgit were called Raas. Some parts of the region were invaded by Maharajas of Kashmir and they forcefully governed the area for many years, which led to the common belief that it is a part of Kashmir. But the people of Gilgit-Baltistan regard themselves as being distinct from Kashmiris and many want to become the fifth province of Pakistan. And they oppose being included in Kashmir. Their opinion is that invasion of Mahrajas doesn't mean that this is a part of Kashmir, just like British invasion over the India in 19th century does not mean that India is a part of Britain. The region's lack of representation in the parliament of Pakistan has placed it outside the mainstream politics of the country, which has become a major cause of frustration to the inhabitants of Gilgit-Baltistan.

The Northern Areas comprise the two districts of Baltistan and the three districts of Gilgit (where the capital is located). Hunza, an independent principality for 950 years which only came under Pakistani rule in 1974, is also located in this region. The Northern Areas collectively comprise a territory of 27,991 miÂ² (72,496 kmÂ²).

Brushaski, an isolated language, is spoken in Hunza, Nagir, Yasin, some parts of Gilgit, and some villages of Punyal. Although Brushaski is most popular and polite language in the Area, it still is not used by a large portion of population. Shina with different accents or in different dialacts is the Language of over 40% of total population, spoken mainly in Gilgit, throughout Diamer, and most of the areas of Ghizr. Balti with a similar accent, is spoken by the entire population of Baltistan except some villages. There are also some other languages spoken in the area -- Wakhi is spoken in upper Hunza and some villages in Ghizr, and Khwar is spoken by some Khwar families in Ghizr. None of these languages are related to each other. Urdu is the Lingua franca of the Area. Urdu is understood by almost all men, and literate women.

According to Habib R. Sulemani the Northern Areas of Pakistan is commonly known as "Gilgit-Baltistan" and this term clearly indicates the districts of Gilgit, Ghizer, Diyamer, Skardu and Ganchay, while the term 'Northern Areas' confuses parts of the NWFP with Gilgit-Baltistan. Gilgit-Baltistan is geographically and politically more suitable than any other term

Hi Yar Actually you have read the History made by some one Pakistani.

Its a big reallity that the Northren Areas were the Part of Kashmir and still it is part of Kashmir. You please dont try to study only those who also don,t know about Kashmir.

I am again saying that all people of Northren Areas also know and they want to be with AzAD Kashmir as having a Free State of Kashmir

Khurram, this is not history, Hunza officialy accepted Pakistan's soverignity some 30 years ago, I think its more of current affairs !. I am sure you can find some one around who can attest to that fact. There is nothing on this that is cooked up. The site is not a Pakistani site,.. have you even read this page at all ? oh I see you were like too busy posting one liners under each and every topic on the forum. Then again I am not surprised because we get such members every now and then..... there is one each month now, actually.

I hope you stay on and and that I am able to convince you to some facts.

I didn't completely understand what you meant up there ? care to explain. If you meant that a whole united Kashmir would like to part of Pakistan as a bigger and better province, I agree with you all the way. Only that I think that Gilgit-Baltistan should be designated as the fifth province prehand with proportional representation in the National Assembly and the Senate. They are a different people and should like wise be a different province. I also believe that other provinces in Pakistan should also be broken down into various provinces for better administration and better representation (for the various ethinc people).
