ACCA has devised the course in 3 Competency levels i.e. Level 1 asks from students to "List", "Define", "Identify" & "Calculate" this level only concerns Knowledge and Comprehension, Level 2 tasks concern Application and Analysis like "Contrast", "Explain" & "Discuss", Level 3 tasks concern Synthesis & Evaluation this includes "Constuct", "Evaluate", "Assess", "Formulate" & "Advise".
ACCA Papers F1 to F3 require Level 1 Competence, F4 to F9 require Level 2 and in rare cases Level 3 Competences, P1 to P7 require Level 3 Competence and in rare cases Level 2.
