Hi dears

topic is about role played by luck in our life(how much of our livies are already written and how much is to be written by us) and <b>more importantly which aspects of our lives are pre-decided and about which we are given choices</b>.

i know Hazarat Ali's saying (when a man asked him same question and he asked the man k apna paoon uthaooo man did so and then again Hazrat Ali said dosra paoon uthaoo as the man could not so he said i cant and Hazrat Ali's reply was only that much control we have over our luck means 50%)

i personally beleive that its like this

we are going on a road and then suddenly we find our selves at a point where such road is divided in to two or more roads
this point (where single road is divided into two or more roads towards same or different directions) is our luck.
and which way we chose is our own decision for which we will be answerable.

but i really need to know more especially what aspects of our life are already decided and where we can opt from choices we have

while giving ur views plz consider this hadeess too

Dear Kasim

Belief in al-qadar (the Divine decree) is the sixth pillar of faith, and no one’s faith is complete without it. In Saheeh Muslim (8) it is narrated that Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) heard that some people were denying al-qadar. He said “If I meet these people I will tell them that I have nothing to do with them and they have nothing to do with me. By the One by Whom ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Umar swore, if one of them had gold equivalent to Mount Uhud and he spent it, Allaah would not accept it from him unless he believed in al-qadar.”

Further,

Hadith - Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah, Narrated 'Aisha I heard Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) saying He who discusses about the Divine Decree (al-Qadr) will be answerable for it on the Day of Resurrection and he who observes silence about it, will not be answerable for it.

So, I choose to be silent on this most sensitive topic, i will refer you to for your research

Dear Kasim,

On topic my personal views are, as considering my own life. Every thing is very dramatic, as someone else is driving me(obviously Allah Pak). I am a strong strong strong believer that every thing is in Allah's hand apart from definitely the choice of selecting good or bad. I always remember the hadith in this regard mentioned in Sah e Bukhari

Abu al Abbas Abdullah bin Abbas R.A sy rivayat hai keh Aap (S.A.W) ny irshad farmaya

“Main ek din Nabi e Karim (S.A.W) ky pechy sawari par baitha hua tha. Ap (S.A.W) ny farmaya Baity main tujhy chand baatain sikhlata hon. Allah ko yaad rakh teri hifazat kary ga. Allah ko yaad rakh tu issy apny samny pay ga. Jab bhe tujhy kuch mangna ho tu Allah sy maang aur jab bhe tujhy madad talab karma ho tu Allah sy madad talab kar, iss baat ko khob achi tarha jan ly keh agar sari ummat iss cheez ky liay ikathe ho jaiy keh wo tuhy kisi cheez ka faida pohncha dy tou who log tujhy faida nahe pohncha sakty magar itna jitna Allah Taala ny tery muqadar mai likh diya hai. Aur agar who sab log ikathy ho jain keh tujhy koi nuksan pohnchain tu tujhy nuksaan nahe pohncha sakty magar itna he jitna Allah Taala ny tery muqadar mai likh diya hai. <b>Kalmain utha lee gain aur saheefy khushk ho gay.” </b>

In my personal view ( May not be pure Islamic).

Insan k liay wohi hay jis kay liay wo mehnat krta hay or agr mehnat krnay kay bawajood usay nahi mil skta it means us main wo qulaities he nahin.

Allah nay insan ko sochnay smjnay n amal krnay ha ikhtyar dia hay but coz wo Khaliq hay n Uska Knowledge apni Makhlooq k baray main absolute hay usi knowledge ki base pay Allah nay Looh-e- Mahfooz main likh dia hay k mera yay bnda kia kia kray ga or kia kia hasil kray ga. So, jo loohe Mahfooz main likha hay wo change nahin ho skta.

At the onset, i would second ciapk of whatever he said.

Allah is a sole doer of everything and he is a sole authority to do whatever he(Allah) wishes.

No doubt, Allah nay insan k peda honay say 50,000 pehlay he likh diya tha k us k naseeb may kia hai. Everything is pre-written.

Lakin iska matlab yeh hargiz nahi k hum hath pay hath rakh k beth jyn k jo humaray naseeb may hai wo humay milay ga, no doubt jo humaray naseeb may hai wo humay milay ga, lakin usay hasil karnay k liye mehnat hum nay he karni hai, kyun k humay nahi pata k humaray naseeb may kia hai, aur jis cheez k liye insan mehnat karta hai Allah pak wohi usay deta hai kyun k wohi uski kismat may hoti hai.
You dont know that what would you eat tomorrow, but you would eat the same thing for which you put efforts to eat. (Although the same is pre-written in the fate, by Allah)

You might have heard, aik dafa Hazrat Ali(R.A) namaz k liye thay k unho nay apnay ount (camel) ki hizafat k liye aik Badvi(villager) say kaha k main namaz parh leta hon tum jab tak mere ount ki hifazat karna, jab Ap(RA) namaz say farigh hue to dekha k wahan na ount hai aur na wo Badvi, Ap(RA) ko aik jagah apna ount mil giya lakin us k uppar jo lakri ka Kacahawa hota hai, wo na tha.. ap nay wo Kacahawa aik dukan pay dekha, us dukan walay nay batiya k yeh usay kise shaks nay 2 Dharam ka becha hai, Ap(RA) nay kaha k, may nay socha tha k jab namaz say farigh ho jaon ga to is shaks ko 2 Dharam batoor inam donga.
Yani us k naseeb may wo 2 dharam thay lakin us nay rasta galat ikhtiyar kia un 2 dharam ko hasil karnay k liye, although usay mila wohi jo us k naseeb may tha..

Jo kuch insan k naseeb may hai, na usay us say kam milay ga aur na he zada, aur jab taq usay us k naseeb ka nahi mil jata, usay kuch nahi ho sakta...
Agar insan k naseeb may aik Apple hai, tou us apple k is insan tak pochnay may jitnay bhe processes hon gay (Yani aik apple plant laganay say apple k us insan tak pochnay tak) us main 360 Farishton ki duty hogi aur un farishton ki duty us waqt tak khatam nahi hoti, jab tak apple us banday tak na poch jye jis k wo naseeb ka hai.


Similarly, (briefly explain kar raha hon) Aik Buzurg ka kissa shahyd tum nay suna ho k jab un say aik shaks nay pocha naseeb k baray may, to ap nay farmaiya(Explain karnay k liye), k in sab chezon may say koi aik cheez uttha lo aur tum jo bhe uthao gay wo mujhay pata hoga, (wo Buzurg apnay hath pay likh lete hain), wo shaks boath soch samajh k aik chooti se cheez utthata hai, aur wo buzurg usay dikhatay hain k un k hath pay bhe wohi likha hai jo us shaks nay uthaiya, phir unho nay farmaiya k tumharay naseeb may jo bhe(Allah nay likha hai) hai wohi tumhay milay ga, lakin amal tumhara apna hoga, us cheez ko hasil karnay k liye.

Undoubtedly, Allah knows the best.
Allah pak nay insan ko Ashraf-ul-Makhlooqat baniya hai aur usay Aql-e-Saleem say nawaza hai, aur yeh sifat janwaro may nahi hoti, insan ko Aql-e-Saleem dene ka maqsad yeh hai k wo achay aur buray rastay ko, within the context of Quran and Ahadees, ikhtiyar karay, to agar koi insan sharab peta hai, mehaz yeh soch kar k yeh us ki kismat may tha to wo nehaiyat he bewaquf hai, kyun k wo us Aql-e-Saleem ko, jo usay Allah pak nay atta ki hai, nazarandaz kar raha hai.

I earlier said that, ho ga wohi jo Allah pak nay Loh-e-Mehfooz pay likh diya hai lakin kyun k humay pata nahi hai k humaray naseeb may kia likha hai so your acts will always decide your destiny, you will get what is written in your destiny(by Allah), provided you put efforts to achieve the same. Although, Allah is a sole doer of everything, and may fulfill your wishes without your efforts.
(I would refer you to go through about the types of destiny i.e. <b>"Muallaq" and "Mubram"</b>)

Nonetheless, it is to be noted that Man is free to choose an action but they must bear the naturally ordained and pre-determined consequence of that action. If one puts one's finger in fire, one must suffer burns (because that is the taqdeer of that action). After that, one must turn to another action with a different taqdeer – like applying an ointment on the burn.


So, agar insan galat acts karay aur us ka galat nateeja niklay to us may yeh soch lena k yahee kismat may tha to yeh aik nehaiyat he bewaqufi hai..
