Dear Logical,
I dont think that a person who does CA after ACCA is treated differently than a person who does only CA (ICAP). The procedure for doing ACCA & than CA would be as follows (in ur specific case) -
1) Give CAT (1 yr, Its like a entry test for ACCA)
2) Give Part 2 & 3 Acca Papers (2 years, These are main ACCA papers.)
3) After passing, get exemptions from ICAP for Mod (A-D).
4) You will than have to do training for 3 years & during this time, u will be eligible to pass Mod E & F (ICAP) Papers.
5) Upon completion of all ICAP papers & ur training, u will be a CA & ACCA.
Cheeers,
AvgJoe
