Hi,
buddy a teacher can only give you a broad concept, you have to do the rest.Frank Wood's Accounting is a must (in my opinion).Mukhergee is good for problems, but topics are explanied in extremely easier way in Frank Wood.
I myself didn't had the accounting background, but I completed my CA Inter privately, didn't take coaching for a single paper(didn't added this to prove me very intelligent, just intended to boost your confidence and morale)
As I told earlier, the major protion of the syllabus is not covered yet.You should start your study at your own.Start your study from Frank Wood, at first do all the topics from this book (all the topics means all the topics included in your syllabus) and then when u think that u have enough hold on this book, then go for Mukhergee's.
Your teacher might be very good in your opinion, buy mine is otherwise, as only two months have left and all the major areas are remaining.
