Plz tell that are there ny ACCA Qualified IN Ferguson.... I heard that there are many CA ppl but only ACCA Qualified.... If not then why arent they Taking ACCA Qualifed and are preferring CA PPL.... Or its just on the basis of Safarish.....

Dear All ! As for as ACCA is concern its a newly qualification introduced in PAk. and also a short cut to enter in the job market. But CA is other thing else . Basically when u r talking about a CA He/ She will be a master of ALL. a King of Accountancy. And ACCA belongs to more that Theoratical knowlege than CA's Practicle knowledge and relates to Pakistan's scenario.
ACCA is talking about WOrldwide scenario like u may saw that ACCA is very very popular in European countries especially in UK . the reason is that UK is the mother of ACCA . However ACCA is as old as CA is but its know how is yet familiar in our people.

In professional Education Wise there are absolutely no Shortcuts......
many ppl consider ACCA as easy but this is only there preconception as ACCA's Core Papers are equally difficult as CA's Mod F. As someone on this forum stated that if u clear the core papers of ACCA with 60% aggregate then he is equalyy competent to qualify CA.... And now even CA has introduced its marking Scheme......

Beleive me if a Qualified ACA is King Of Accountancy then A qualifed ACCA will beno less than a Ikka. All of our opinions are actually based upon pre-conception and its an absolute rough and rigid opinion that ACCA's are Incompetent when compared to CA's. Thats just caused bcaz of the Monoply of CA... Nothing else.....

And one thing ACCA is nopt only abt Theoraticall knowledge ... if u havent completed the essentially required 3 yrs articles then u wont be a member of ACCA.. rather u will only be an affliate.. Likewise ACCA is also concerned with practical Knowledge as most of the Professional Qualifications are.

Hope it will help to clear some of ur views......

I have read most if not all of the previous posts int his thread. It has been queit interesting specially the fights between the members regarding ACCA and CA. And specially the tussell btw u and other Members like Nascar and Goodman .... Some good Views by Zubair and Sumaan.. It cleared the misconceptions..

But where are they now where is Zubair , Nascar and Sumaan..,. Where are they all...........

myself and goodman never confronted on any issue and he is among my best buddies over this forum. yes i did exchange some strong words with NASCAR and later with XBRL. i hope they both are well and i wish they resume their participation on this forum.

Zubair and Goodman are both the nicks for the same person. Zubair actually forgot his log in details and therefore opened a new account with name 'Goodman'.

BTW he did tell us this a while ago.

i knew goodman's real name but never thought he is the same Zubair.
