Ab khof nahi mujhey kisi rah guzar sey
Main door nikal aaya hoon pathar k nagar sey

Wo mujh sey bichar jaye ga kisi mor pey ja kar
Ye bat mujhey maloom thi aaghaaz-e-safar sey

Jaisa bhi hoon acha ya bura apney liye hoon
Main khud ko nahi dekhta aoron ki nazar sey

Kash mujhey maloom ho jaye teri soch ka mehwar
Main khud ko tarashoon terey andaz-e-nazar sey[/b]

Ab mohabbat ki wakaalat nahi ki ja sakti
Sheher bhar sey to adaawat nahi ki ja sakti

Mera chehra meri aankhen hain salaamat ab bhi
Kon kehta hai wazaahat nahi ki ja sakti ?

Baat ye hai k koyi toot k chahey to sahi ! ! ! !
Har kisi sey to mohabbat nahi ki ja sakti

Aankh kehti hai kahin aor chaley jayen ham
Dil ye kehta hai k hijrat nahi ki ja sakti

Loh-e-dil par yehi tehreer likhi hai Ghalib
Ishq walon ko naseehat nahi ki ja sakti

<b>The Road Ahead</b>

Sometimes I think the fates must grin as we denounce them and insist,
The only reason we can’t win is the fates themselves have missed.
Yet, there lives on the ancient claim - we win or lose within ourselves,
The shining trophies on our shelves can never win tomorrow’s game.
So you and I know deeper down there is a chance to win the crown,
But when we fail to give our best, we simply haven’t met the test
Of giving all and saving none until the game is really won.
Of showing what is meant by grit, of fighting on when others quit,
Of playing through not letting up, it’s bearing down that wins the cup.
Of taking it and taking more until we gain the winning score,
Of dreaming there’s a goal ahead, of hoping when our dreams are dead,
Of praying when our hopes have fled. Yet, losing, not afraid to fall,
If bravely we have given all, for who can ask more of a man
than giving all, it seems to me, is not so far from - Victory.
And so the fates are seldom wrong, no matter how they twist and wind,
It’s you and I who make our fates, we open up or close the gates,
On the Road Ahead or the Road Behind.

Long undecided lay th' important choice,
Till of the beauteous court, at length, a voice
Pronounced the name of HOPE--The conscious child
Stretched forth his little arms, and smiled.

'Tis said ENJOYMENT (who averred
The charge belonged to her alone)
Jealous that HOPE had been preferred
Laid snares to make the babe her own.

Of INNOCENCE the garb she took,
The blushing mien and downcast look;
And came her services to proffer
And HOPE (what has not Hope believed!)
By that seducing air deceived,
Accepted of the offer.

It happened that, to sleep inclined,
Deluded HOPE for one short hour
To that false INNOCENCE'S power
Her little charge consigned.

The Goddess then her lap with sweetmeats filled
And gave, in handfuls gave, the treacherous store
A wild delirium first the infant thrilled;
But soon upon her breast he sunk--to wake no more.

HER eyes are wild, her head is bare,

Here are many poets with their big names like Faiz , faraz , Nasir kazmi , Habeeb Jalib , Mohsin Naqvi , Shehzad ahmad and many more
but the ONE who can,t long alive IBN-E-Insha.
He died at the age of 45.
dunya aaj bhi roti hai k aik aisa shakhs jis ney itni kam umar men itna naam paida kiya itni jaldi kaisey guzar geya ?
magar un ka kalam aaj bhi zinda hai aor aisey lagat hai k
neya hi likha geya ho.

chota sa tukra paish kar raha hoon

Koyi aansu nahi aankh men bat ghar ki abhi ghar men hai
Tum jo yun hi satatey rahey dard ashkon men dhal jaye ga

Door hain jab talak tum sey ham kaisey ho ga madawa-e-gham ?
Ik dafa tum milo to sanam gham khushi men badal jaye ga

Us ney be chaini sey foran hi kaha "Sham k Baad"

Laot aati hai meri shab ki ibaadat khali
Janey kis arsh pey rehta hai KHUDA sham k baad

Maar deta hai ujar janey ka dohra ehsas
Kash ho koyi kisi sey na juda sham k baad
